Después Coffee – Catering Services Terms & Conditions

This Catering Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Después Coffee, a California-based coffee catering service, and the undersigned individual or organization (“Client”).

By submitting the required deposit, the Client agrees to the terms below.

1. Services Provided

Después Coffee will provide the agreed-upon coffee catering services (“Services”) for the Client’s event (“Event”), as outlined in the confirmed quote.

Menu items may include:

  • Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha Latte, Vanilla Latte, Seasonal Lattes, Chai Latte, Hot Chocolate, Herbal & Black Tea

  • Milk options: Whole, Oat, Almond

The menu may be adjusted if ingredients become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.

2. Event Details & Changes

Event specifics (date, time, location, guest count) are based on the initial inquiry and confirmed quote.

  • Any changes must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before the Event.

  • Significant changes (e.g., guest count, timing, location) may result in updated pricing or surcharges.

3. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your Event date.

  • Final Payment: Due 7 days prior to the Event unless a written Net 30 or other agreement is in place.

  • Late Payments: Subject to a $50 late fee + 1% weekly interest (4% monthly). Service may be withheld for non-payment.

  • Payment Methods: Credit card, ACH, or check (payable to Después Coffee).

4. Venue Access & Setup

  • The Client must provide venue access at least 1 hour before and 1 hour after the Event for setup and teardown.

  • The Client is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions, permits, and fees.

  • Outdoor service requires clear weather and temperatures between 40°F–90°F for equipment safety.

5. Power Requirements

  • Each espresso machine requires a dedicated 120V/15-amp circuit.

  • We provide necessary cords and power strips.

  • We are not liable for damages or service disruptions due to inadequate power supply.

6. Insurance

Después Coffee maintains general liability insurance covering services provided at Events.

7. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold Después Coffee harmless for any loss, theft, or damage caused by Client, their guests, or representatives.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

8.1 Deposit: The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
8.2 Refunds for Additional Payments:

  • 30+ Days Before Event: Refunds available for any payments beyond the deposit.

  • Within 7 Days: No refunds on any payments.
    8.3 Future Credit: All funds paid may be credited toward a future event, subject to availability.
    8.4 Special Orders: Client remains responsible for any non-refundable, special-order items.

9. Rescheduling

  • Single-Day Events: Rescheduling is allowed with 72+ hours’ notice, pending availability. Less notice may require full payment.

  • Multi-Day Events: Requires 7 days’ notice for rescheduling.
    All rescheduling is subject to availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, weather, or venue-related issues, Después Coffee may:

  • Offer a substitute vendor (with Client approval), or

  • Refund all payments received.
    We are not liable for any additional compensation or damages.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, CA.

12. Entire Agreement

This Agreement is the full understanding between the Parties, superseding any prior agreements. Modifications must be in writing and signed by both Parties. If any part is deemed unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

13. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any term does not waive the right to enforce it in the future.

14. Acceptance

By submitting the deposit, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Después Coffee’s receipt of payment confirms the booking.
